Homay Schmitz has established herself as a composer with the world renowned British sample library company Spitfire Audio, writing themes, demos and trailer music for each new product, showcasing its orchestral tools designed for Film, TV and Game music.

In 2017, Homay scored feature film, The Haunted, with fellow composer Oliver Patrice Weder. In collaboration with Spitfire, they produced Inside the Score, a ten-part vlog series, documenting the entire scoring process – from meeting the director, to seeing the film showing at various prestigious international film festivals.

Homay’s recent compositions include works for Apple, Youth Strike 4 Climate, 2018’s ‘Speak Up’ released with Tape Club Records and a commissioned string quartet piece for a special event celebrating IWD, in collaboration with The Church Studio, Foundation FM, Spitfire Audio and SA Recordings.
