The SA Singles Series features new music by innovative, emerging artists. The debut release, Eyes Ahead, comes from composer Homay Schmitz.
The string quartet piece was commissioned in partnership with The Church Studios, Spitfire Audio and Foundation FM as part of an International Women’s Day initiative that saw Paul Epworth’s Church Studios open up its doors to female-identifying, aspiring engineers and producers. Attendees were a central part of the one-day event that included the recording, mixing and mastering of Homay's composition by Fiona Cruickshank, Marta Salogni and Katie Tavini.
